The Briefing:
Agents meet their Case officer at Springfield, MA FBI office.
Combat Veteran and Delta green asset Sergeant First Class Edward Fuller, Agent Lattice of L-Cell and his family are missing. It was first brought to the program's attention when Lattice failed to respond to activation. Further investigations reveal he missed two weeks of voluntary psychiatry therapy.
L-Cell has requested to investigate the situation, A-Cell assigns them the task, however the program suspects the Cell's possible involvement in the disappearance and sends the Agents to carry out their own covert surveillance investigation and get to the bottom of the situation if L-Cell fails.
What is going on?
After years in the field Agent Lattice undergoes rapid mental deterioration following his last Operation. Suffering frequent psychological flare-ups and violent manic episodes in recent months reduce the once imposing man into a neurotic recluse.
Haunted by the grueling death of his wife Lattice became obsessed with ensuring his children never experience the same fate. Feverishly pursuing immortality through researching the occult and experimenting with Hypergeometry.
The fruit of his labour is a ritual that bends reality and also develops a crude ritual to transfer souls into inanimate objects.
The Family:
- Edward Fuller
Agent Lattice, Iraq War Veteran saw frequent combat before being redeployed to Japan with his family. While there his daughters introduced him to Ball-joint Doll collecting as a bonding hobby. The family returned to America following the terminal diagnosis of his wife. While undergoing treatment Lattice became embroiled with the Program. Permanently insane he is driven to perfect his ritual by crippling Necrophobia, Haphephobia, Claustrophobia, Somniphobia and Agalmatophilia.
- Eliza Fuller
The sixteen year old is the first victim of the experimental ritual. The straight A student is perfectly scattered over numerous identical bodies, a single hive mind free of her father's control. The experience leaves her on the edge of insanity, Eliza commits to pursuing her father's studies in an attempt to save herself and siblings. Suffering debilitating melancholia she has committed suicide with a handful of her bodies throughout the house. Eliza will request the Agents help, her six remaining bodies are beautiful identical handcrafted dolls with long shiny black hair and exquisite Japanese clothing.

- Tilly Fuller
The thirteen year old is beyond saving, fragments of her insane mind are shattered across numerous identical bodies. Drowning in animalistic rage and murderous desire. The angelic dolls have pristine blonde hair and kimonos stained by the blood of critters. More cunning Tilly's sit in corners or hide awaiting prey deeper inside.
[@oscedi]
- Ivy Fuller
The youngest daughter is alive, imprisoned within the house being prepared for the ritual by Agent Lattice. If the Agents stall or hesitate to help L-Cell they will arrive too late and find the child’s soul perfectly bound to the body of a doll. Sane but confused with her new existence.

- The Wife
Something from the corpse of Jasmine Fuller has been transferred into an unholy twisted amalgamation of mannequins and bladed weapons. The lumbering chimeric horror protects the house, leaving at night to watch over her daughters.
L-Cell:
- Agent Livingston
The Leader of L-Cell and experienced Fire fighter is calm under pressure, reserved and immensely loyal.. He is willing to accept help. If he survives and Eliza has not been destroyed he will request the Agents keep her existence a secret.
- Agent Langley
Cocky and rude FBI agent, she will demand L-Cell simply burn the house down and not attempt a rescue. Only relenting if the Agents side against her.
- Agent Ladybug
Gun happy national guard, likely killed by the Wife while exploring.
- Agent Lovecraft
Elderly Miskatonic University Professor of Mathematics, handles monitoring equipment and less dangerous tasks. While sheepish he will side with Agent Livingston and insist the Cells owes it to Lattice to try and save his children.
L-Cell uses a modified RV as a mobile base of operations, filled with guns, explosives and monitoring equipment.
L-Cell is immediately suspicious of the Agents if revealed before encountering Eliza. They will contact their handler, resulting in the Agents being chewed out for ineptitude and then ordered to assist.
Observation Timeline:
Before the Agents arrive L-Cell canvases the town and then stakes out the Fuller residence.
1st Day of Observation:
07:30
Armed with tactical gear, L-Cell breaches the Fuller residence. After searching the first floor they find nothing unnatural and set up cameras.
11:30
The second floor is filled to the ceiling with trash and a path must be cleared. Dumping the trash and any evidence including laptops and important documents tied to the family in the backyard and burning them.
19:00
L-Cell discovers a window leading into a mirrored room while clearing out the right bedroom. They set up cameras on the second floor and leave.
24:00
L-Cell witnesses the Wife and Daughters leave the residence and explore the surrounding woods. Heading back as the sun rises.
The 2nd Day:
08:00
L-Cell returns heavily armed and in hazmat gear. Livingston, Langley and ladybug slowly head further into the residence.
10:00
L-Cell is attacked by Tilly Dolls while exploring, the team survives and Lovecraft burns the dolls.
13:00
L-Cell encounters an Eliza doll, disables it and begins communicating with the young lady. She explains Ivy is still alive and what is going on.
15:00
L-Cell explores further despite Eliza's warnings. Encountering the Wife, Ladybug is killed and the survivors flee the house.
- If they are aware of the Agents at this point they will request their help.
Monroe, Massachusetts:
Located on the Hoosac Range, Monroe is a town in Franklin County, surrounded by Monroe State Forest with a population around 120. Asking around the scattered township reveals little useful information.
- In the last few months Lattice appeared sick, seen less and less.
- His Daughters were responsible, well known and liked around town.
- None have been seen in days.
- Other FBI Agents were asking questions around town.
The Fuller Residence:
The residence is a plain Cape Cod-style house surrounded by forested land with piles of rotting critters scattered throughout. The yard is overgrown partially hiding the family truck. L-Cell has established a burn pile in the backyard.
In the living room dolls sit on furniture, posed watching the television. An array of furniture is stacked in one corner moved during the search. Paths have been stepped through the dusty floor, L-Cell has taken photos of the scene and set up cameras around the house. The remaining rooms on the first floor are orderly but dusty, nothing has been used recently.
Upstairs is littered with trash and nonsensical writing on the walls. The left bedroom is filled with resin pots, discarded brushes, paints and doll-sized footprints. The right has piles of doll limbs while the sole window leads Beyond.
The Beyond:
The Agents enter a nonsensical hypergeometric lair.
Roll for an Encounter after exploring two rooms.
1)
An upside-down hallway stretches for an entire kilometer, windows line the walls evenly, looking out into a dark forest filled with swaying trees, yellow light from twin moons illuminates shadowy figures.
2)
A window opens into a collection of mossy stone chambers, the sound of a rainstorm raging can be heard outside.
3)
A staircase descends into a series of bedrooms connected by balcony hallways, the space below is filled with smashed dolls.
4)
A large attic space full of soulless dolls and mannequins frozen in the act of performing sexual acts with intricately carved faces of immense pleasure, pain and satisfaction. Extensive detail has especially been taken to depict the feminine genitalia and erogenous zones. Dry and wet pools of semen and blood line the floorboards.
5)
A room flooded to waist height with islands of cobbled together doll houses filled miniature families. If not destroyed, the Wife is here.
6)
A door on the ceiling leads into an idealistic copy of the house. The bright, clean and appealing interior is contradicted by the decomposing body of Eliza sitting watching TV, Tilly's body sits at the kitchen table with a half eaten plate of food. Upstairs in the left bedroom Ivy is restrained next to a doll surrounded by strange symbols and candles. Agent Lattice attacks without warning.
Encounters D6:
1: A Tilly doll Attacks.
2: An Eliza doll hides here.
3: A debris pile collapses burying the Agents.
4: Nothing.
5: A swarm of Tilly dolls Attacks.
6: The Wife Attacks.
Conclusions:
Burning down the House or failing to save Ivy:
Survivors of L-Cell will blame the Agents and eventually seek revenge.
Killing Lattice and rescuing Ivy:
Earns the Agents an “off the books” favor from L-Cell.
Eliza:
L-Cell wants to keep any surviving Eliza Dolls and requests the Agents fail to mention her situation in reports.
Eliza won't resist destruction beyond begging the Agents for help. However L-Cell will seek revenge for her destruction.
Clearing L-Cell:
The Agent's reports and evidence provided determines if L-Cell suddenly vanishes or continues to operate.
