Old Ones Anonymous

Someone has been talking, and the Program is worried about who may be listening. Your agents are tasked with finding out who’s been spilling the beans, how much they know, and then they are to contact their handler for more instructions.

Every thursday night, there’s an Narcotics Anonymous meeting in the basement of St Paul’s church in the downtown core of any American city. There the members of the group come to work through the struggles of addiction. One such member has recently been talking about things they claim to have seen or done while under the influence of different substances.

One of the other members of the group is a DG friendly, and they picked up on specific things mentioned. They of course wished to remain anonymous, so they dropped off a letter at the home of a DG agent they knew, and let time do the rest.

What’s Really Happening

Colin Tuncay has been a Delta Green agent going on 10 years now. He’s of the new blood, recruited from within the FBI. He’s seen and done things, as all agents have, and his sanity is slipping away. His marriage has fallen apart, his children won’t speak to him anymore after a decade of neglect. He was seeing a psychiatrist, but that doctor refuses to treat him as he believes Tuncay to be a pathological liar.

But Tuncay knows that the one thing that did help him was talking through his experiences, even if the doctor didn’t believe him. He can’t turn to his wife any longer, nor his children or friends. Who would believe the things he says?

Then he found a group who would listen, and would not pass judgment. All he needs to do is drape his tales in the guise of being drug-induced hallucinations or the result of a recent relapse, and he has a captive audience. Every thursday, there they are, hanging on his every word. He doesn’t even need to use his real name.

But what happens when the wrong people catch on to what Tuncay saying?
