SIGMA LYCANTHROPUS

Handler's Brief:

A splinter of the Karotechia has been bidding it's time, under the guidance of the “Fuhrer” a plan of infiltration is undertaken. The Brotherhood of the Black Sun target Containment and Research Facility-B4 residing outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. A mission to retrieve items of interest before releasing any entities within and taking the “Last step to Nirvana.”

The Brotherhood of the Black Sun:

In the aftermath of the La Estancia Raid, an intricate system of hypergeometric wards were triggered and set in motion. 23 years have passed since then and in the abominable peaks of the Plateau of Leng a hidden monastery adorned with a golden swastika cradled by a tri-limbed monstrosity and it's red serpentile cone-head has been preparing.

A new Karotechia has formed, a modern cabal reforging the scattered records and lost tomes of the fallen reich into something more. A unique blending, Fascist rhetoric and a bastardization of Zen Buddhism. The rejection of Genetic Aryanism for the rigorous unshakable path of Spiritual Aryanism has allowed once honorary races to be elevated and invited on the journey to Nirvana. For the path towards Übermenschen is an enlightened state of mind, free of doubts.

These self-proclaimed reincarnations and distant descendants are Ascetics of a new age, doctors of the great ills of the world. Believing nothing is greater than countering universal suffering. The Bodhisattva operate as Agents tasked with carrying out deadly missions against the enemy.

The Commune:

• On the morning of February 23rd 2024 the Bodhisattva are led from their personal quarters to the deepest bastion of the Monastery.

• Communing with the Master of the Order after days of intensive meditation. He has contacted the Fuhrer, gleaning Hitler's enlightened view on conflict and desire for an age of revenge.

• Through Scrying Windows and Meditative spiritual projection, the Brotherhood has observed a DG facility of interest.

• Their Mission is one of retribution, to deny the enemy that which they covert. Using a Technique of mind transfer to infiltrate the facility, the Bodhisattva will secure any items of worth and sabotage the site. Through one taking the “Last step to Nirvana.”

“THE CABIN”:

Sixty miles west of Fairbanks, Alaska operating under the guise of the underfunded Whitestone Elk Environmental Security Research Station (WEESRS) on the waning end of a DARPA contract is actually Containment and Research Facility-B4 “THE CABIN” responsible for housing Project: YESTERDAY. The restricted laboratory is operated by the Intelligence Contractor, Dynamic Static, a loose subsidiary of March Technologies.

While the cover (WEESRS) is limited to the upper floors, the subterranean facility below is tightly regulated. Through the Biological Technologies Office, pivots in above ground research is a common excuse to relocate and replace cover personnel often. With the skeleton crew to maintain the facade, rigid biohazard safety protocols keep all unaware of the unnatural.

Five key Doctors helm the research taking place, with a small array of twenty supporting staff working long hours around the cover team. A crew of thirty agency veterans operate as private security protecting the facility along with a series of low-yield nuclear warheads beneath the facility.

• Above Ground Facility

Ten officers act as the security personnel of THE CABIN. Patrolling the perimeter of the facility in simple uniforms with concealed firearms. Manning the entrance gate and despite recognizing every staff member, following protocols to the letter.

Holding: Amulet of the Ai-Apa

Dr. Violette Greene heads a team studying the properties of a retrieved Amulet. A staff of seven specialists work over unredacted files of an event in Long Island and additional historical records searching for answers. Ten heavily armed security officers maintain the first subterranean level, the following levels are accessed through B1.

Dr. Elizabeth Lehr leads a team of six studying and interacting with Subject L along with examining the genetic make up of a series of ancient standing stones. Six security officers observe every interaction with Subject L.

• B3 - Secret Clearance Level - A

Codename: MOONDANCE

Holding: Reanimation Formula

Dr. Joseph Cavilino leads a team of four deciphering the chemical components of the Karotechian Reanimation Formula, attempting to synthesize components and mechanisms to ensure it's successful function. Testing on lab mice is carried out, before rapid subject destruction. Three officers maintain access to the elevator, armed heavily and poised to react to any situation.

Codename: DAYDREAM

Holding: Shattered Dragon Stone

Dr. Stewart P. Butler and Dr. Alfred Knopf head a research team of three specialists strictly examining the chemical and behavioural imbalance created by exposure to the shattered dragon shaped stone in lab mice. Peter Strauss observes the laboratory through a reinforced strong point, monitoring the vital signs of every Scientist on the level.

Entities Contained:

• During the day Laura Brooks is a bespectacled chimpmonkish teen. Imprisoned in a plexiglass cell with basic amenities necessary. Laura is polite and kind to all who speak with her. At sunset the girl transforms into a powerful bat creature yet retains her demeanor. The girls insists she was cursed by a witch in the forties and was saved by a band of teens in the late eighties.

• A trio of standing stones leaks a ebbing flow of blood. DNA strands significant enough to find matches have been traced to thirty-one individuals with many more still being deciphered. Records link the stones to a promnight massacre.

• Six glass flasks contain the Karotechian Reanimation Formula. Responsible for countless horrors of the Eastern Front.

• The Amulet of Ai-Apa, linked to a series of murders on long island. A successful in field test by agents suggested repeatable results with tangible costs, contained for further examination.

• The Shattered Dragon Stone has entered a “Romantic” relationship with Dr. Stewart P. Butler. Claiming to be an ancient goddess of forbidden love, Lofn. The fragmented alien consciousness showers the Doctor in praises, affection and sexual gratification. Directly interfering with his brain chemistry. Urging him to indulge in his sudden depression fueled hunger for more violence and sex. Subsisting off the flared emotions, it is connected to a series of cult mass suicides.

• Various Tomes related to each Entity can be found on the corresponding level. Research papers, grainy footage, suicide notes and spellbooks.

The Mission:

The Bodhisattva have access to very little equipment and support. Provided with only false identities and flights to Alaska. Expected to succeed with their wits and hypergeometric prowess alone.

The Scientists of “THE CABIN” live in private residences around Fairbanks, each carries a “panic button” that alerts their security detachment.

The Security team share a nearby barracks when off duty, with access to a selection of vehicles and weapons.

At the secluded site the main building is an indistinct structure, box-like and covered in heavily tinted windows. Personal keypad codes tracks access. Besides a large car park residing on the eastern side and the booth by the entrance there is little else of note.

The Subterranean levels are a large series of containment cells, laboratories, offices and archival rooms. White reinforced concrete walls and environmentally sealed doorways segment everything.

The upper security monitors an array of cameras, while the subterranean levels features a separate self-contained system of various monitoring equipment. “Bio-Chem” Alarm triggers are located on every level similar to fire-alarms. Security checks happen every two hours.

If removed from local power a subterranean generator supports twelve hours of power to the facility.

Jamming radio signals from the site would allow a two hour window before discovery.

• If the Infiltration is proceeding well a sudden “Delivery” is radioed in by Coral Nomad.

• If the Infiltration has raised an alarm a Kill Team is on route.

As the others escape one Bodhisattva is expected to carry out the “Last step to Nirvana.” A parallel calling formulae to the one used in the Naudabaum incident. Reciting the rotes of Azathoth and summoning a portion of Deamon Sultan with apocalyptic results.

Casting Time: 5 Rounds.

A Ritual allowing the caster to permanently trade minds with a target, the caster must succeed in an opposed POW roll with the target. With success, the caster loses 1D10 SAN and the target loses 2D10 SAN. If the exchange fails, the caster must immediately cast the spell again or their soul dissipates into eternity. A successful casting means that the caster has permanently taken control of the target’s body. The caster’s previous body is now a hollow, dead thing. As for the mind of the target, it remains inside its own body, subservient to the caster’s mind and locked in a permanent state of horrific madness.
